dry eyes in summer only

I had an underlying condition of dry eye in the winter.Now it is in the summer that I get it.I have the plugs in.Last summer I didn't get it.I have it this summer.My symptoms are my eye lids sting when I sit on the lawn.I have no itching or watering of my eyes.I am going crazy trying to figure out what is causing it.

If it only happens when you sit on the lawn, I would certainly consider allergies. Do you also have a pet with you when you sit there? Cats drive my eyes wild.

Also, the airconditioning in summer can be a trial for me.
