When your eyes are so dry do you feel extra tired? I find myself with so little energy -- I hate it, and just don't know what to do to get back to my normal (pre-lasik) energy level.

I wouldn't say I feel tired. rather that my eyes are so dry and so painful that I just give up and go to bed. I used to be a person who could stay up to 4 o'clock and now I go to bed at 10:00pm sharp.If life is a bowl of cherries, then why I am I stuck in the pits! -
Yes, I was always (and still am) very tired because of the sore, dry eyes. It's because the eyes want to close. Your body may not be tired, but the eyes are the key. It leaves the rest of you feeling like crap.When your eyes are so dry do you feel extra tired? You'll probably get your pre-lasik energy after a bit. As for staying up late, it's a self-defeating thing to do when you're dealing with dry eyes. Knowing you'll have to pay the piper. Sometimes, though, it's just worth it. LucyDon't trust any refractive surgeon with YOUR eyes.
