any1 else experience this? It is like an extremely sharp pain if I push my eyelashes down.

Mine were like that and I had had a couple years of eyelashes falling out a lot! Since I am now doing Dr. Latkany's Eye Spa that feeling is gone and I have thicker, longer lashes than I have had in years. Also before that they grew in crooked and those would actually get really sore feeling.

I have the same problem. It drives me CRAZY! Hurts like heck.
      Azasite seems to help.
I began to suspect it was either demodex overpopulation, or an allergy to demodex. Seems logical since they live on the lash root.

My Opthamologist said he saw no signs of demodex, but I read the only way to count them, is pull out lashes, and look at them under a microscope,
      something he has never done.

      Demodex is implicated in Rosacea,
My Dermatologist spotted my rosacea and gave me a anti demodex soap.
It is not for the eyes, but I use it on my lids anyway.
Dermatologist also gave me FML ointment.

I tried the tea tree oil treatment, wow , that was tough !
I do however use the tea tree shampoo and soap regularly.

I have about 90% control currently . I still have flare-ups, but at least I am not in constant agony like before.

I am not sure exactly what causes it, I am still so puzzled.
It may be a contact allergy, since it flares up at work mostly.

I am throwing everything I can think of at it and hoping something sticks!

I think their are phases of Blepharitis, mine used to be sensitive to the touch aswell, but it is gone now, mine have improved alot, from not irritating them with lid scrubs...
