  • Eyelid squeaks

This may be totally random. But when I pull my left eyelid taught, it makes a distinct squeaking sound. I can only imagine that is clogged up glands? My right eye does not make this sound.

It only happens one time, if I do it again it does not squeak (until later). And it does not squeak when after my compress when I go to do my massage.

    Anyone?

Yes, many of us have had squeaking eyeballs. Each will probably have a different explanation.

I'd not think it was clogged glands in my case, but probably a suction sound resulting from pulling the eyelid taut. (My glands are clogged/atrophied too, but I don't think that's my reason for squeaking.)

I've seen people write on here that just blinking caused their eyes to squeak. Lucy
