  • Extreme inflammation out of nowhere??

    Inflammation and severe dryness!??

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Does anyone have a decent few days or so and then out of the blue your eyes become extremely red, raw and dry as a bone (with no change being done in your diet and environment)? I just want to know that I am 'normal'. Please help!

I was some decent days the last week and then today at work (nothing different) my eyes felt like it was 8pm instead of noon! They hurt so bad and it was really hard to work on the computer. I couldn't even make myself cry.

I just want to know if anyone else goes through this ? It is so odd to be feeling as close to 'normal' as possible for days and then bam it hits!

Thanks to anyone who can respond. All of you on here have been a great lifeline for me! )

Yes, I so know that. It happens to me every week- I get a few "good" days(still with lots of pain) and then I wake up the next morning and my eyes are red all over and neither ice or a lot of drops can change that. I don't know why this happens , I just know that I hate it. Today is such a "bad" day again and I don't know what to do.

      Hey Steph,,
Thanks for responding. Yeah that was me yesterday and i suffered all day at work-horrible. And like you said the 'good' days you have still aren't w/o some pain and discomfort. I am now trying to get it out my mind and not worry that I am going to have another bad day.

I hope you have a better day and find some relief..

yes, I have also noticed this. Also their are those good days, or have you ever experienced it where, the swelling goes completely down in your eyelids, and it feels like your eyes are producing normal amounts of tears, this happens to me quite frequently.
