    Hello,
I think it is because a computer screen is only inches from your face but the TV is several feet. Your eyes are more strained to focus close up. Also you are focussing on a small area of the PC while generally looking at the whole TV screen.
Unfortunately my scientific diagnosis has absolutely no idea how to help you use a PC
    Sorry

I agree. The closer an object is, the more 'staring' you do (poorer blink rate). I was talking with someone the other day who uses a microscope at work and deals with this same issue .

          blink rate

When I first got my Lasik, the computer screen would just look like a huge blob. The problem may be due to lack of tear film. When the pupil get dry, it secretes water which bright light will bounce off in kinds of crazy directions kind of like a kailedescope. This makes using a computer screen very difficult. Just keep doing your dry eye therapy and things will get better! It's important ot remember to keep blinking every three seconds or computer use will make your dry eyes worse.

            so true

Due to chronic tennis elbow from computer overuse at work, I had to have surgery. I was just provided with a split keyboard to try and prevent my elbow pain from recurring but the angle of the keys and the shining overhead lights now means I have double vision looking down at the keys. All the icons on the keyboard are ghosted.
I don't know why but this strikes me as hilarious. I have always loved irony.

I have been able to increase my computer use drastically by putting the top of the screen considerably lower than my head. This way I look down at the screen and my eyes are less than half open, slowing drying considerably.
