red rimmed eyes

Does anyone know what this may indicate. My eyes have always been white, since lasek. But the rims are very red, lately my eyes have been so bad.

I think it's just irritation. I have them too after my lasik dryness.

mine are like that too. I was told that's just a sign of eye irritation stemming from...anything (ie. lid disease, tear deficiency, allergies, etc)

mine are like that bacause of MGD

Thanks for your responses.--May be a dumb question but, how do I know if I have MGD or blephartis?

You'd really need to get a Doctor to diagonise it. I know its hard to find a good Doctor - i went to several before i knew the problem. I do feel at times though that there are other issues going on aswell but for now i'm working on doing the warm compresses, lid hygiene etc.
