I don't normally "disappear" threads without an explanation so I wanted to post a brief follow-up.
Many of you read and responded to the thread in which a member of both our forum and the Sjogrens board posted a link to a thread on that board in which our joint member kcoffiner indicated - among many other things - an intent to take her life. There was an intervention which appeared entirely warranted by the circumstances and she seems to be fine. I removed all the personal details from the thread after the crisis was past (they had been posted in good faith and with good intentions as a matter of ensuring her personal safety). I have since removed the thread because there remain some questions about the situation and about the veracity of some statements made and I did not want things to spin out of control.
I apologize if this caused any concern or confusion and I don't want to inhibit people from discussing this further as needed.
