For all of you following anti vegf, there is an interesting abstract posted in CORNEA that shows that a woman with conjunctival vascularization due to impending pterygium recurrence was successfully treated (vascularization regression - in other words the vessels on her sclera were lessened) with topical avastin. This is good news (as it is only a case study not GREAT news) to those of use hoping to use anti vegf for conjunctival redness and veins.
