I hope there's someone out there who's well informed on this.
You're supposed to use a mixture of tea tree oil and macadamia nut oil at 50-50 once a week with three applications 10 minutes apart. I've seen warnings about not doing this yourself but having a doctor do it because TTO is a nasty irritant.
Is this absolutely necessary? Because, how much more careful can a doctor be than my mom?
The second thing is, I read that, before applying the tea tree shampoo, which you're supposed to apply twice a day, you should massage the lids so all the mites come out of the glands. There's no need to use a warm compress with the massage in this case, right?
Also, the shampoo, a poster here said that it should be diluted 50% with water, somewhere else (it might have actually been the same poster) I read just "mix with water to generate the foam" and in an eyeworld.org article it doesn't say anything about diluting it.
What's the right way?
