Hi all,
Just throwing this out there as a last ditch effort to find information. I've got moderate MGD and want nothing more than scleral lenses to work. When mine are in the redness and discomfort go away immediately. I've worked with a scleral specialist here in Boston for about four months and ended up on my fifth and final scleral iteration. Vision is A+ and so is comfort...for an hour or two. My issue is I get a dull, throbbing pain around my temples after wear for a couple of hours. My doctor is dumbfounded as she's positive both fit and prescription are where they need to be. I have no reason to doubt her as I can tell she's been splitting hairs when evaluating fit and ordering updated lenses accordingly.
I've tried every saline Dry Eye Shop offers as well as Celluvisc. I use Clear Care Plus cleaning solution. I was hoping Nutrifill would work but it hasn't served me any better.
My guess is I'm the only one who may have the specific experience but wondering from other users' experiences, is there anything else I can experiment with? I'm willing to try most anything at this point, especially this time of year with how dry it is out.
