I have a MG probing scheduled for next week. Has anyone had this done recently? If so, what has your experience been with - the actual procedure, pain during, after. Also how about the most important question - has it helped? Look forward to any replies.

You can see several other posts by EugenieS where he or she claims to be very pleased with repeat procedures done by a doctor in Santa Monica, I think.
I am going for the procedure in a few days... I am told it is usually painless depending upon how bad your condition is, but sometimes there is a need for anesthesia.
Dr. ****** has a few videos on youtube where he uses a mixture of lidocaine, jojoba, and petrolatum. Here is one of the videos:
