Have you ever wanted to point out a particularly good thread to another user in response to their question?
Here's two ways to do it:
1) LINK to the thread in your post:
Open a second browser window
Go to Dry Eye Talk and locate the thread that you want to link to
Click on the thread and go up to the address bar of your browser
Select the path (http...) and copy (control+c)
Go back to the original browser window where you are typing your reply
Place your curser where you want to post the link
Click on the little icon immediately above the text box that looks like a little earth and a chain link
Type in some text eg "Click on this link for a good thread" and hit return
Paste in (control+v) the address of the thread and hit return.
Complete your post.
2) "Pop" a thread to the "top" (PTT)
Locate the thread that you want to draw attention to
Create a reply to the last message in the thread, indicating why or for whom you're PTTing it, and post it
The thread will now be at the 'top of the stack'
