If you meant fish oil supplements - not all brands are the same - most doctors recommend re-esterified.
Bad quality one, do more harm than good.

(Bio, cold pressed) flaxseed oil maybe a good alternative.

By the way, lots of things make my eyes burn but oils is not one of them unless I put the oil in my eyes and then for sure it will burn.
