Hi there,
I was wondering if anybody knows of any doctors that perform tear duct cauterisation in the UK?
I have had my lower tear ducts cauterised twice now by the same doctor and I feel as if my right eye has become dry again ( the uncomfortable dryness). My left is very manageable at the moment. I have upper plugs in as well and have just finished a months course of restatis. Maybe it's that kicking in.
So now i'm potentially looking to discuss with an eye doctor about having all four cauterised. Life is good in my left eye, so I feel that with all four tear ducts cauterised and restatis, I personally feel like I can continue with life only using drops every few hours.
I feel that people may not agree but I don't see any harm in it to be honest.
