Serum Infection Question
Haven't been on here for awhile because I've been doing GREAT. Had a setback. Got a very bad eye infection. I think my autologous serum drops got too warm. I started living my life again and bought a Medicool Dia-Pak Daymate. It's a travel case for insulin, to keep it cool. Has a mini frozen ice pack.... -
Plugs this Morning + Serum Working
They feel OK. Hardly felt them going in. So far I don't have any issues feeling them when I look too far left or right (my ducts point inward a bit so my doctor thought I might have an issue). Serum Dosing Question
I am on 100% serum drops, every 4 hours alternating with PF OTC drops. Once I put in the OTC drops, the drops physically hurt or dry me out worse for about 60 minutes. After roughly 60 minutes, I start to feel OK.
Should I ask my doctor to dilute to a 75%-85% solution so I can dose more...Last edited by Cali; 17-Aug-2012, 16:53. -
Serum Sterility - How Careful?
So, a couple times I accidentially touched my eyelashes with my 100% serum drop bottle. I also may have touched my finger on the tip of the vial once as well.
I'm trying to be very careful but it's very difficult to NEVER make a mistake and touch the top of the vial on something. ... -
Serum In Fridge - 3 days or 5 days
Serum went "missing" in my first autologous serum blood draw on Monday. Turns out the pharmacist overfilled each dropper vial. When I picked up my drops, the pharmacist said that I was to use each opened vial for "3 days only, kept in the fridge, then throw it out."
