Anyone used Mucomyst (N-acetylcysteine) eye drops to break up mucus?
I saw the surgeon who did my eyelid grafts (for my mucus-y, stringy tears). He said that he thought the hard palate (roof of mouth) grafts were producing too much mucus.
He said there are 2 options: remove the grafts and replace them with another material . . . or first, try mucomyst... -

Got contacts at age 13, never super comfortable with them (had dry eyes!), but at about age 30 developed GPC making contact-wear impossible.... -

Anyone ever had really foggy vision that they couldn't blink away? Like you are looking through vaseline or something? I've had this happen a few times and it's horrible.
