Lexapro

Hey guys,

I just started taking lexapro to get me over the whole dry eye depression. Does anyone have any experience with this drug? Did it seem to dry out your eyes anymore? I'm nervious about the side effects.

I was on it for about a week, and then I started noticing my dry eyes getting worse (along with headaches), so I stopped using it.

I was on Lexapro at one time and didn't notice much change...I was so dry anyway...

I must add that even if you do see some change in your eyes, in the case of depression, the benefits can certainly outweigh the risk of side effects. Give it a go and be positive about it. The antidepressant will help you through this, and you won't necessarily need to be on it forever. Hopefully just until you can get the eyes under control.
