What OTC medicine do you take for allergies

Seasonal allergies -- is there anything OTC that is "safe" or "safer" to take. My head is stopped up, I'm sneezing and my throat & ears tickle. I have Alavert and Zertec but leary to take.

I have MGD.

I've taken Zyrtec. It does dry my eyes a little bit, but when I'm having an allergy attack, sometimes I go ahead and take it. I kind of weigh the slight increased dryness against being miserable with sneezing etc.
