Hi, the redness came back but not as bad. I still use honey drops daily and fun it helps slightly. But towards end of day the redness comes back.

I guess a ss a little bit is better than nothing

I have taken the advice of Jebo about the Honey drops and made the solution he spoke of before.
    AND OMG IT HAS WORKED
The inflammation, most prominent in my left eye has gone after using these drops.
I have use the drops 2-4 times a day with no rebound to speak of
I have slight heavy eyes at night time before bed but think its just me being tired

I do have some questions Jebo:
    - What honey did you use?
    - Would the stronger honey work better?
    - How often do you apply?
    - Is this still working for you?
    - Have you fine tuned the solution?

I have searched and tried many many things to clear my red eyes from surgery to acupuncture to every single eye drop and a simple tub of honey and water has worked

I dont want to get ahead of myself but it has been 1 week since i started and i haven't once seen the redness that i have lived for the last 10 years of my life
    Hi Franklin1987,

Any update on the honey drop treatment? Did you see any difference with the red eyes? No rebound until now?

Ok so the day of this post I had a red eye breakout, not huge but just mild in the left eye vein which has always been the worst. To tapered down the drops today to experiment the correct dosage to have. Seems as though I have gone too low. Today I did one drop each eye at 7:30am and then again at 2:30. I'm going to move to 8am, 1pm and 6pm. I will report my findings.
Does anybody reckon that the strength of the honey I use would impact the amount of time the redness is relieved?

I was on glaucoma drops for 13 years, and my specialists said the BAK in them burnt my eyes up. I now have severe dry eye disease and blapharospasms every day. Cannot read or drive a car anymore. What a mess. Tried everything. Lipoflow, high heat laser treatment, botox every three months, and every drop on the maket to no avail. Suffering daily. As to Thera Life, I checked them out, and they seem to sell a very high priced fish oil. Been taking supplements for 4 years, lutein, Omega 7,m Omega 3, Tumeric, heat packs, everything. No help out there. Checking out Manuka honey and an eye drop from India. http://www.swamibabaramdevmedicines....shti-eye-drop/ We will see what happens. Also on all Natural Ophthalmics, for men. Supposed to work, on it for two months, no help yet!

    Franklin,
I'd shy away from making your own drop unless you know exactly what you're doing. Let me ask. what is causing your redness. And to answer your question, yes thats rebound hypermia,

I had constant red eyes for several years, but finally found a balance that helped manage the problem, I'm currently on lotemax gel once a day M-F. I'll also take pazeo drops a few times a month if i go contacts. My eyes do act up from time to time but i noticed them significantly better throughout the week.

You need to identify what is making your eyes red:

Despite having some apparent dryness based on what Dr's said, I never had a dry eye feeling, nor did i have an itch. I boiled it down simply to allergies, based on my environment, what I'm sleeping on, the air, dust, things we can manage but never truly control.

I feel like allergies are easier to handle than actual dry eyes, despite both leading to intense redness.

A few things that will definitely help but likely not fully eliminate the chronic redness is

-Cleaning your eyelids (baby johnsons shampoo eye lid scrub in the shower, google it)
    -Drinking water (staying hydrated helps).

I know its a very uncomfortable feeling. It caused a ton of anxiety and stress for me throughout my early 20s.

Stay strong, meditate, understand that a cosmetic red eye look is nothing compared to other medical issues people have. I know its hard to think that way but if you take that approach, you'll be less stressed and just adopt the fact that you look high all the time. In the day put on a cool pair of shades, at night just embrace yourself and condition. Again despite how bad it looks, its not the worst. You have eyes,

Stay strong..the mental battle with yourself is crucial to how you progress..

Update - I made my own solution following the above.

6 hours of whiteness but then back to redness after this, pretty red too.

Is this rebound? and is this drop solution safe to use twice a day?

    Hi all,

Was wondering if there is any update on Luminesse eye Drops. I havent seen any information as yet

Also Raven93 how is the solution you made going longer term? Did u use Alphagen? What other drops act the in the same way?

I see from your recent comments you combined 3ml Briminodine and 15ml of Refresh tears giving you a total of 18ml of the 'new formula'?

What was the method you did for this? Did you use any specific apparatus to reduce any contamination? Do you keep these refrigerated?

    Appreciate you help
