Hey Tankie,Originally posted by Tankie View Postmy right eye was 33 and my left eye was 29.
I'm happy to see you're up and on the computer! But I'm so sorry to see that your lipid layer thickness scores are so low. As you know, I heard that <50nm is severe and >75 is normal. We need to get on Health Canada to cover treatment with LipiFlow ASAP.
Wishing you a speedy recovery,
Sheila

The output is expressed in Interference Color Units (ICUs) which correlate with Lipid Layer Thickness (LLT) (FYI I got that from googling "lipid layer ICU").Originally posted by Hopeful2 View PostWhat would ICU stand for
It is NOT a measure for tear film thickness. It is a measure of lipid (oil) layer thickness. In other words, it's used to quantify meibomian gland function/dysfunction.Originally posted by Hopeful2 View PostI'm guessing tear film thickness?
