If you are squeezing correctly, you will see oil come out if you look really closely. If you see nothing, then they are clogged, I would recommed getting a microwavebale warm compress as it stays hotter longer. Try just heating the lower lid only as this will not irratate your eyes as much and then squeeze. A warm cloth should also work, but make sure it is more on the hot side than warm, but not too hot that you burn yourself. Try this in the morning. The reason an Opthamologist can not tell if they are plugged, is becuase they see the gland opening and they think it is fine. But it is what is inside that they can not see. And if they squeeze nothing will come out, because it has to be melted.
