My daughter has suffered from RCE for the past 18months and we have had a variety of different diagnosis and drops. The doctors has now hinted she may have EBMD (or Meesmann Dystrophy). To anyone who has this, how do you get a confirmed diagnosis?
Any recommendations for drops? We currently use Hylo-Forte hourly and Lacri-lube twice at night however she is still having RCEs every 4 weeks.
She has had Alcohol Delamination on both eyes with little improvement and we are now looking at further surgery - Stromal Puncture or PTK. Anyone have any experience of if this works for EBMD?
