Inspired by this week's DEZ bulletin, I am going back through my bookmarks to find what I have on RCE's and ABMD.
(If you happen to be new to this condition, or if the condition is driving you completely nuts right now, you may want to save this set of resources for another time. They are full of varied, inconclusive, and sometimes downright scary things. For instance, I had recalcitrant RCE's, and the suggestion in many of these sites is PTK, surgery, which can lead to other problems. Many doctors are not only not trained to detect ABMD; they are also not informed about osmotic eye drops, like Dwelle. So, if you are coming to this thread and are upset with what you read in the pages connected to the following links, please know that the DEZ is a good, safe place to be to read it, because we, here, have an alternative to Muro, stromal puncture, and PTK!)

Modern Approach in the Treatment of Recurrent Corneal Erosions

http://www.jsei.org/About/PDF/ClinicalUpdate0103.pdf
http://www.revoptom.com/handbook/sect3i.htm
(In the link above, I really appreciate the "Clinical Pearls," because it would help if doctors understood what we endure.)

(An "oldie but a goodie," this next one is posted elsewhere but is worth looking at, if you are interested in various treatments)
http://www.revophth.com/index.asp?page=1_790.htm
http://www.osnsupersite.com/view.asp?rID=22768
http://archopht.ama-assn.org/cgi/con...10/1445?ck=nck
(What I like about the following site is the case study.)
http://www.siliconehydrogels.org/in_...ice/jul_05.asp
http://www.revoptom.com/index.asp?Ar...510/lesson.htm
(The above link has an article that implicates corneal surgery in RCE's.)
