I was glancing quickly through new stuff today and saw PP's reply to an old thread here. (By the way, PatientPatrick, thinking of you though I haven't replied to posts & sorry to say behind on private messages as well... one day I might catch up .)
Anyway here's what caught my eye:
I enjoy seeing posts like that where someone's really articulated the crux of the matter well. This one really encapsulates one of the hardest parts of the battle: What to even aim for? Putting all our energy into fixes and cures, into pain management, or into our emotional health, etc.
Reminds me of the old adage about the man with the machete who worked so hard to cut his way through the jungle only to find... he was in the wrong jungle.
It's important to know what to wield our weapons on, especially for those who tend to build up a truly formidable arsenal.
