    MaryVa61,
I have to take a pressure drop also and I switched to the BAK free drop called Timoptic in Ocudose. It seems to be much easier on my eye ie. less reddness etc. I have learned to use cold rice baggies first then put in a few drops of preservative free tears, wait 10 minutes , then I add my Timoptic, more cold wait another 10 minutes and put more tears in. That seems to help me and my eye is hardly red.

Thank you all for your excellent posts! The tips are excellent. I use Alaway allergy drops, a mask at night to reduce air flow, a strong humidifier and a filtrete filter for the house. These work well for me, but my symptoms are not very severe - more annoying than severe.

Try not. Do. Do not. There is no try.
