Non Fish Oil Omega 3

  • Non Fish Oil Omega 3

    Can someone recommend an Omega 3 that is not fish oil? It works to help lubricate my eyes however it is causing constipation. Since I already have IBS this is not good.

    I believe that Chia seeds contain high levels of Omegas.

      Flax, flaxseed oil is another option for you.
      Every day with DES is like a box of chocolates...You never know what you're going to get.

        In addition to the Flax and Chia seeds, here is another option. You can find other brands, this is just the one I'm most familiar with (Ovega).

        Ground Chia seeds have worked very well for me (better than Flax or Fish Oil), for my nighttime dry eyes. I toss them in my oatbran and smoothies.

          Thanks everyone. The stuff on Amazon looks good @monk. I think the Chia seeds could be an issue with me because of my IBS. it might be too much fiber for me but I'll look into it for sure.

          Guess I need to look at vegetarian stuff.

          UPDATE: I just saw that Flax seed has phytoestrogen's which I do not need so I bought some Chia Seed Oil Capsules from Amazon which has none. Here is the info FYI.
