I know I've been quiet, but I am watching. Loved the "thumbs up" joke, Hangus. Sorry to know of your recent troubles, and even more sorry the consensus requires you to touch your toes in a backless gown.

Keep us posted and best of luck. I also like Nutratear for a nice light daytime drop. It's great.

Whew, after reading my way through this thread.......I'll not comment on the problems because you already have enough advice.

But, I must say I'm not surprised you have a macho job as a firefighter. Fits the image nicely. Lucy

How on earth did I miss this post.

Need to visit the GP now with cramps in my sides from laughing.

My dad had prostate cancer (not the reason he is no longer with us but that is another story).

He used to refer to the postate checkup as an index-finger-oscopy.

Used to crack me up then as it does now.

I can remember him telling us once his GP said "this won't hurt a bit", and dad said to him "just remind me how many times you have had this done to you", the GP responding "never and I don't envy you 1 bit".

Given the history in our family, I have a blood test every few years as a precautionary measure.

No backless gowns or index-finger-oscopies on my agenda in the near future.

Sounds like another one of those joyous trips to the GP that one would rather forget.

          Regards

          Ian

I have the same thing! Maybe it's that the vegas nerve that runs to the bladder is somehow connected to the nerves in the eye. I believe there is a connection. I also went to bladder specialist who just diagnosed me with freguent bladder syndrome. I just think there is a connection. So I'm seeing an accupuncturist that believes in back up with tests. So we'll see, but go with your intuition.
