I was allergic to Gentel Gel, used to wake up looking like something out of a bad horror flick. I generally avoid gels as a result and just put in drops every time I wake up. If my eyes are too dry to blink I gently pull them open and put a drop in so i don't scratch the corneas trying to blink until they are lubricated. Seems to work OK. I ordered the Onyx goggles but don't have them yet. I am anxious to try them...F/G

Hi, I'm a Refresh Tears PM fan. It's really helpful especially in the winter heating months. I wear contacts so my eye doc recommends rinsing my eyes in the AM with Unisol to thoroughly flush out any left over ointment before inserting the gas perm lenses. My doc also recommended Refresh Tears for daytime. They don't provide any relief, but I try to follow the 2 hour regimen. Sometimes every 20 minutes is more like it!
