Well, I just got the UltraPlug 0.5 mm in both lower puncta this morning place by an Ophtho.
She saw a granuloma (not a pyogenic one, just a granuloma) in my left puncta where the Oasis Extended duration plug was. Don't know if that means I was allergic to it or if that was from the IPL interaction with the plug?? Don't think so - allergies is usually the problem in my eyes.
Immediately after placement, I noticed my eyes were more moist. That sensation has lasted a couple hours now. I looked in the mirror and my tear meniscus is definitely larger in both eyes.
I also have a *tiny* bit of overflow on the inside corners of each eye. I can't say I feel immmediately more comfortable. Should I?
How will I know if these plugs are "not the answer"?
