Got punctal plugs few days ago...even drier!

Hi i got punctal plugs 4 days ago and my eyes have felt even drier. I got the Oasis brand dissolvable ones. Before my doctor inserted the plugs she used some numbing drops in my eyes. Could a reaction to the numbing drops be the reason for my eyes feeling drier?

I had a punctal plug inserted in the top duct last week, and my eye felt drier that whole day and next day as well. The numbing drops seemed to burn ever so slightly upon being put in. Maybe give it a couple of days. My plugged eye is doing fine now.

Please keep me posted about your condition..as I am considering doing this as well..
But really am afraid of more dryness/more pain.
