loss of sensation from cautery?

From those of you who have had punctal cautery, have you had any loss of sensation in that part of your eyelid? Like, from the scar tissue?

Also, is there anyone who has had the puncta stitched closed? Did you have any loss of sensation in that part of your eyelid?

I have had some surgeries but not cautery. I can tell you it can take time for the sensation to come back. I would tell your dr. You need a more clear response but that is what I know.
