by the way, is the cream helpful to ur symptoms? although i've never heard that before, i guess it might be helpful coz when im having gud time with my gf, my eyes do produce more tears n i could definitely feel that, so this helmone stuff (is it?) should be worth trying...

I got a perscript from a doctor in the states. But i cant give any more info than that im afraid. I think it could be helping at the moment but its to early to tell really. ive been using it 1 week. But im sure your not at this stage yet, your still to try restasis, hopefully that will work for you.

nvm, currently i wouldnt have that much money to go to states to see doctors privately. maybe later. still waiting for my restasis. it seems restasis doesnt help u much, does it? dont know whats gonna happen to me~~

btw, i heard its hard for ppl here in uk to receive parcel containing liquid from abroad due to this terrorist attack, dont know whether this would affect the delivery of my restasis??

Also, Sazy, abt this rice baggy and eye spa thing to treat MGD, have u tried them before? do these help u? my doctors didnt say i got MGD though they did say my lipid layer is not very gud, so i didnt try these specific treatment mentioned above, but since we got similar syptoms, anything works for u, i shall probably give it a try. after all, my syptoms are still not well under control...

No ive never had a problem recieving stuff from abroad and i have recieved quite a few things.

Rice babby only gives me pallative relief, but it is not sustained. In other words it has never improved things. I wish i could say i have found improvement, but i havent. No restasis didnt help me i dont actualy think anythings gonna help me (except face pain) until they address the oil layer signalling mechanism. I dont think my dry eye is caused by inflammation and most things treatments out now address inflammation. Im still hoping im wrong and this cream is gonna help tho.
but that doesnt mean it wont help you. Are your eyes red?
This is what i think:
do you have blocked glands, or bad consistency(MGD)?- if so, compresses (rice baggy) may improve things by melting the lipids.
If like me you have evaporative dry eye from a low oil output or mucin problem then rice baggy prob wont improve it.

I finally got the restasis from the website you told me. i have tried it for one week, but havent seen any major improvement. im gonna carry on with it until i run out of the whole box though its a bit burning to be honest. I also use these minims steroid and hopefully my eyes would be better in one month time as I was told~~

my eyes arent that red now. it was like that a couple of years ago esp in the evening. currently i got these thick blood vessal on my eye ball, but most of them are covered by my lids, plus im wearing glasses(-4.00). so usually ppl wont notice anything abnormal from my eyes.

i dont think my MG is blocked, but i do think my dry eyes are related to MG as after shower, my eyes dont feel that great. its like oil layer is washed away.

My Restasis arrived this morning......will give it a go starting tonight.

The cost is not for the faint herated though......just over £1 per vial.......

Not that I have any choice....and just for info, can anyone tell me what the usual cost is for Restasis.
