I stopped using Restasis a couple days ago after several months. It seemed to be making my eye irritation worse, and my eyes had become very red.
Within about 24 hours of stopping, I began noticing an unusual sensitivity to odors.
Could an eye drop like Restasis have suppressed my sense of smell so that going off it would create a rebound sensitivity?
I like having a good sense of smell, so it isn't bothersome (although I noticed some less than nice odors around my house that I wasn't aware of during the months I used Restasis).
