Overuse of Clear-eyes - now permanently bloodshot eyes
I'm 30 years old and have had red-bloodshot dry eyes for about 4 years. I think it started with eye-strain from overuse of the computer, I was using it for such extended periods of time that my eyes were getting strained and bloodshot. The solution, stupidly, was to use Clear-eyes or Visine.
