Cathy, just follow your instinct, listen to your body then go fight for the treatment and keep learning and reading and making it happen. Doctors are just like us but with certificates. You will get there. Just own it and fight for it. Good luck!

Kept coming to me to post an update so maybe someone will benefit one day. I continue pretty much as my last update. I can wear my lenses most of the day but I choose to switch with glasses sometimes as I think I just still have something in my mind about the "old days". Per last update, I still use drops, some days I do not need them so much and others I do. But there is no real ongoing discomfort or problems my nerves seem to have really settled and I think that I am gradually using drops less and less but it is hard to really measure those things. I do have some irritation and sensitivity still, but i think that has now become a way of life, when I got to a place where it was not as severe as my first years with this, I was able to deal differently. There is a difference between a headache and a migraine for example, we can somewhat have a normal day with the headache!!

I have still a lot of scoliosis and issues in my body from my TMJ/TMD but I have recently tried the Atlas Profilax permanent atlas adjustment and I believe some of the scoliosis will improve, it did immediately after the treatment but I was one of the few 10% where I had to go again as I think it did not really settle - I really had a lot of skeletal issues so we are talking about that I am in a percentage bracket of people where there can be enough pressure to affect this treatment. It really is normally a permanent fix. I anyway recommend anyone with headaches to try it. Look it up online. I read on a lot of the notes on this atlas profilax adjustment that it can help where nerves are caught in the atlas "socket" also. For me the movement in my neck was 200% better after and I have less headaches.

I hope those of you still in the midst of this battle that you keep believing, and trying and find ways, I really do send all my best and most heartfelt vibes to you all. I had some dark days with this and I read stories of people in a far worse scenario than I. I did a lot of visualization of my own healing in those days, I think at some points that kept me hanging in there. I hope you will all find your ways.

Thank you for updating us, I'm so pleased you found a solution! I've started with tmj at the same time of my dry eye too, also had two wisdom teeth out this year, also recently found out my muscles where weakend so much in my pregnancy that it's creating issues with my legs, backache and muscle weakness in my arms and neck pain (this was over two years ago and only just found out why) I'm actually due to see a spinal specialist for physical therapist in the spring. Would it be a good idea to ask him about the dry eye and Tmj ? or would he not have the no how to advice me? I'm seeing a nhs dentist too but thIs is just for a night guard fitting and I'm sure he won't be open to talking.
You said you saw dentist/muscular-skeletal doctor? What's the posh name/title of this job roll? Could you ask them so I can Google a near by professional?
People have recovered, so can we.

Hi! Have you heard about Dr Sarno and his tms theory? I cured my dry eye in just a few days reading his book and listening to his docummentaries. I have a friend who suffered from tmj and he did the same and it also worked for his problem. I strongly recommend it.
