    Yeah, I'm now trying to use Zeaxanthin+Lutein and Maxi Tears interchangeably, but both accompanied by Astaxanthin. I feel the solution is somewhere near here.

    I'm going to try 20mg Lutein-only supplement next.

      This is very interesting! I have been taking Hydroeye for over a year & am not sure it is working. I checked and it contains black currant seed oil. I also take omega-3, evening primrose oil and use coconut oil for cooking. I should be loaded with oil!! I used to take astaxanthin and Tumeric for inflammation but stopped awhile ago.
      I have autoimmune issues and am wondering if it is safe to take astaxanthin. I think lizlou29 brought this up too. Anyone know? If it is an anti-inflammatory I would think that would be good for auto-immune issues.
