I have gone to both a corneal specialist and a neuro-ophthalmologist at a well-known teaching hospital in Maryland, but neither have ever explained much of what is wrong with my eyes. They did not even tell me I had MGD, EBMD, RCEs, as well as anesthesia dolorosa. I discovered some of my diagnoses, only after finding this site, researching some on my own, then asking my docs whether I had these. They confirmed my fears. And this was after I had multiple RCEs, the latter ones treated by them. I was treated by them for at least 3 months before they told me anything. The Wilmer Eye Clinic is in Baltimore, and I am curious to know if anyone here has ever been treated by them, and what their outcomes were, how competent and interactive their docs are.
