Well, I didn't get to see him in person. One of his doctors examined me.

I went to Paris two times. The first one, I was prescribed an anti-allergy drop and steroids.
The second time they added cyclosporine and switched the steroid with a non-steroid anti-inflammatory drop.
Can't say that any of this has helped. Although I have had some good days too. But in general it's even worse now...

My second visit was actually a second opinion after visiting dr. Geerling in Duesseldorf.
I underwent probing and Lipiflow there 3 months prior but that didn't result in any relief.
I started a thread about it a while back, also to discuss MGD:
      http://www.dryeyezone.com/talk/showt...g-and-Lipiflow

It has become quite a messy thread somehow though and my view on MGD has changed considerably since then.
I think MGD, especially in my case, has a lot more to do with inner eyelid inflammation/rosacea than I thought.

And when I realised that IPL can counter that, I figured that should be my next step and here I am...

Yes, I went gluten free for two months but that changed nothing.
I also cut down on dairy and sugar but again no improvement at all.
