Hello,
My name is Tiffany, I'm 33, and I live in the Midwest. I've just been diagnosed with dry eyes, MGD, Blepharitis, and Ocular Rosacea. I've had symptoms for years, but the doctors I went to had no idea what was going on. Thankfully I found a more competent doctor and, as of a little over a month ago, I'm on doxycycline (50 mg twice per day), soothe artificial tears, and Restasis. The Restasis is stinging my eyes like crazy and nothing seems to have helped at all. I'm at my wits end with feeling like there is constantly something gritty in my eyes, pain when I wake up, and irritation and major redness (my eyes are so red all the time and it's really upsetting). I've got no idea what to do. I do lid scrubs with ocusoft twice a day and ocusoft plus once per day. I apply warm compresses once per day and have attempted gland expression, but can't figure it out. Is it normal I've seen no improvement yet? Are there ways to cure this?
I'm looking into purchasing the eye mask/goggles for nighttime, but am not sure which variety is better, the Alpha Eye or Tranquileyes.
Thanks for any help any of you may give.
Best,
Tiffany
