Pigtail Probe

Hi all,

I had punctal plugs put in, and one migrated down into the lacrimal duct and cannot be removed. It causes constant discomfort. Apparently I need to have a "pigtail probe" procedure to remove it - does anyone have experience with this? It sounds daunting and risky.

Thank you. Yes I've done some googling, but the lack of a lot of information is a bit disconcerting... Any personal experience would be very welcome!
