Will having punctal plugs in affect the accuracy of the Schirmer test?
I never had the Schirmer test until after I had my lower lids plugged so I was wondering if plugs can effect the test? At the time my doctor said plugs won't effect it but I know that when it comes to dry eyes for every doctor who say's one thing there will be another doctor who says the complete opposite...

Pigtail Probe
Hi all,
I had punctal plugs put in, and one migrated down into the lacrimal duct and cannot be removed. It causes constant discomfort. Apparently I need to have a "pigtail probe" procedure to remove it - does anyone have experience with this? It sounds daunting and risky....
