    They are available over the counter but will probably work out more expensive than your prescription would.

    In the UK, you can buy steripods (well you could sometime back) which is a non preserved saline solution in a 20ml container.

    It is designed for wound irrigation (burns, eyes, etc). You may have to ask your pharmacist for them but they are about 40p each.

    You can also get non preserved saline in a little plastic bag, they are next to useless, hard to aim, difficult to store and just not particularly user friendly.

    The steripods are a firm container like most pf eye drops.

    The difference with the Steripods in Minims is the sheer size. I found the size of the minims PF saline to be quite useless also, it only contained about 5 drops, the steripod was really good for eye rinsing and that is one of their purposes.

    Again, I got a box on prescription and used them when things were a little rough.
