I just read a thread on here, begun in 2008, mentioning it takes only a few years to have this happen. I'm fairly certain my doc doesn't have meibomography to determine this. I worry, also, that this might be happening to my son who has dry eye issues. I stopped warm compresses a year ago as all they seemed to do was make my eyes very red.

Just had lipiview and the doc took a light and held it to my lids...he said 75% atrophied in one eye and 85% in the other! I'm only 31 is that possible? Freaking out a little
Edit- my other numbers were 34 and 52 he said 100 plus was normal.
blink was 2/9 were partial and 7/11 in the other eye.
