So I decided to try out Hydrasense as well.
From what I can tell, it is very, very similar to Hylo, which is about what I expected.
In fact, I am probably a bit more comfortable with it than with Hylo.
I do think there is a tiny, tiny stinging sensation (very subtle) that is not there when I use I-Drop Pur, but even there I am not quite sure and if so it is small. Maybe it's just my eyes adjusting to a different chemical formula. I would say that I like it a little more than Hylo, actually.
So all in all I would say it's quite a good drop, very economical too. However in the long run, just to be sure, since it seems tried and true to me and to produce no stinging, I might well stick to I-Drop Pur.
Now after I let it sit a while, Hydrasense feels more comfortable than it did initially. I tried to look at a video for around 30 seconds, which I've completely avoided doing for a while due to pain, and actually seem to have an easier time staring at it with Hydrasense in my eyes than with I-Drop Pur, which makes my eyelids heavier. Hydrasense definitely is lighter, whereas it seems that I-Drop Pur is "coating" my eyes more heavily. But I don't know, I think sometimes I do like this heavier protective "coating".
So I guess I might alternate between the two.
