So I decided to try out Hydrasense as well.

From what I can tell, it is very, very similar to Hylo, which is about what I expected.

In fact, I am probably a bit more comfortable with it than with Hylo.

I do think there is a tiny, tiny stinging sensation (very subtle) that is not there when I use I-Drop Pur, but even there I am not quite sure and if so it is small. Maybe it's just my eyes adjusting to a different chemical formula. I would say that I like it a little more than Hylo, actually.

So all in all I would say it's quite a good drop, very economical too. However in the long run, just to be sure, since it seems tried and true to me and to produce no stinging, I might well stick to I-Drop Pur.

Now after I let it sit a while, Hydrasense feels more comfortable than it did initially. I tried to look at a video for around 30 seconds, which I've completely avoided doing for a while due to pain, and actually seem to have an easier time staring at it with Hydrasense in my eyes than with I-Drop Pur, which makes my eyelids heavier. Hydrasense definitely is lighter, whereas it seems that I-Drop Pur is "coating" my eyes more heavily. But I don't know, I think sometimes I do like this heavier protective "coating".

So I guess I might alternate between the two.

Thanks for the insight into your experience on the drops, glad the new one is helpful.

Yes Candorvision is going overkill on the price hike, Bayer releasing this new range may make them re-think that. I think some don't know about i-drop Pur in Canada as on the Facebook groups some were saying they were paying $70 CAD for Hylo Gel (which as far as I can tell is the same as Hylo-Forte here as both have the same ingredients, I think it's just called Hylo-Forte in UK and Hylo Gel everywhere else for whatever reason).

Yes could be worth alternating, I know some people subjectively feel their eyes can get tired of the same eye drop and find it better to switch it up since natural tears are comprised of so many different things normally. I have been trying alternating between Hylo-Forte and Thealoz Duo recently.

In the end I stopped using the liquid drops version of HydraSense because, although they are lighter on my eyelids than I-Drop Pur, they cause slight discomfort, a tiny burning sensation.

However, I tried using HydraSense gel during the night, and it does seem to help retain more moisture in my eyes, which I see once I wake up in the morning. It also doesn't have the slight burning sensation of the liquid version. It does make the blood vessels underneath my eyelids a bit heavier (though less so than the gel version of I-Drop), however since I am sleeping, I am not moving my eyelids constantly and am not encumbered by it. I used it for once week straight so far and it has been fine, so I will keep doing it.

I received the Ocusoft Plus foam this morning. It does have a soothing sensation, and is lightweight on my eyelids (since it's just a foam), but I don't know if it will bother me more than not. I will see if I will keep using it. In the meantime I ordered more bottles of I-Drop Pur.

I also keep my injections, and notice slight, but constant, progressions. I can now watch more video in a tiny YouTube frame on a webpage for 20-30 seconds, something which I wasn't able to do only 8 to 10 days ago.

I decided to try Restasis 3 or 4 times a day, as some people said it helped, but for me it seems to induce more irritation. I do seem to produce some more tears, but I am uncomfortable after another application. My eyelids were very red the next morning. So I will stay with two times a day, which I tolerate very well.

This morning I had to leave early without putting it on, and now I finally put it on. I discovered I really don't like to be without it now.

I am tempted to try the preservative-free version of Systane Ultra. After I-Drop Pur, it is probably the second drop I tolerate the best, but so far I only tried it in bottles and have some stinging sensation after it goes away.
