Just a quick update.
I've continued with this regime. In addition I've changed my make up brand to one which has fewer chemicals.
The improvement is in-going. The redness is slowly fading more and more. Very very rarely do the sting or feel dry. I took a 12 hour flight and they were fine and I was shocked. I didn't use drops or wear glasses. I didn't read or watch films either however. Small sacrifice to make.
I think exercise, eating well and reducing stress have helped the most. I'm hoping with time I'll stop thinking about them, however I'd say they are 80% healed. Occasionally they will flare up, for example, if I'm in a mall they might feel a bit gritty and go red. But this subsides when I'm outside again. Good thing I can't stand malls!!
I've not used drops for at least 10 months, I do still clean my eyes twice a day with a hot cloth, and clean the lash line with coconut oil.
