Hi Everyone
I have to make this short cause my toddler (yes! I had a baby) is trying to get my phone. First off, I’d like to apologize to you all for being one of those people who didn’t update when I went into remission for five years. I feel so bad about that. It’s...

Reaching out for help from the community - My 3 year dry eye journey
I know this is a long post but it would really mean a lot if someone could take the time out of their day to just have a read and maybe offer some advice.
I have visited this site for years and never had the bravery to sign up and talk about my journey - I find, like most of you...Last edited by Jamesrogers92; 11-Apr-2020, 06:07.

Declanium, I can now report a 100% success story. I kept doing the routines / treatment that I described above. And at some point in early 2019 ALL symptoms disappeared. My lid margins were the same color as the rest of my skin, no dryness, no waking in the middle of the night with eye pain. I stopped...

Hey! I wanted to jump on here to share how I figured out what caused my ocular rosacea + how I got out of it. I really hope it will help some because I know how painful it is.
I am a 25 yo male from Canada, and I consulted my optometrist 5 years ago because of eye dryness + blepharitis,...

How I fixed my dry eyes
Hello everyone,
so as the title says, I am almost completely free of my dry eye symptoms.
I am a 21 year old student and have no problem looking at my computer screen for 10+ hours every day, something that would cause severe pain before I fixed my eyes.

I tried Avenova (name-brand hypochlorous acid) for about two weeks and didn't notice much difference. It's possible it did help (I don't notice a huge different with cliradex either) but it's below the threshold where I'd feel comfortable concluding anything based on my n=1 subjective impressions....Last edited by anteloper; 21-Dec-2020, 20:19.

Good picture, best to ask your eye doctor if you get a chance.
I'm not a doctor but AFAIK biofilm wouldn't directly "block" the glands and stop expression so much as provide food for microorganisms and "feed" blepharitis-- which would then lead to inflammation, and cause...

Hey Alex! I use wipes instead of scrub. 'Cliradex Eyelid, Eyelash and Facial Cleansing Towelettes' is my options for the wipes. Helps me keep my lids hygiene. I have heard Occusoft is also fine.

Cut the Cliradex wipes in half so they last twice as long! And use each half for both eyelids....

Demodex
Has anyone who was told they have demodex found it helpful to get the plastic covers for pillows and mattresses? Also what are people using to treat demodex? I'm currently trying Cliradex....

Hi mbperso,
The last optometrist I saw believed I had demodex. How strong of TTO did you use? Did you ever use Cliradex?...

I don't know how I missed your comment but I did...Thanks for the help hannsho. I still haven't figured out what's causing the eyebrow loss, though was told some of the lash loss could be from blepharitis. I'm trying hypochlorous acid now, also trying cliradex in case it is demodex. I am going to...
