I hope someone in here can give me a direction to go. I've seen numerous eye doctors since 2004.
Well this morning I called my eye doc (been seeing for a year now) back because she didn't call me back yesterday (bad business if you ask me) said she doesn't know what else to do for me. Okay so here is how all this started:
Thursday I went to her because my right eye was killing me (the front portion) after using a non-preservative drop (Refresh). I was having black shadows across my eye when I woke up in the mornings, my eye was stinging and the front part just hurt horribly. I used Refresh Tears (bottle) for five years and all of a sudden a couple of weeks ago I have acquired an allergy to those. So she told me to stop all drops thinking I'm over-medicating and to put just a cold cloth on my eyes when they feel dry. Did that and air conditioning blew in my eyes all day on Friday when I was at my college class. Sunday I acquired pink eye since there isn't enough tears to keep out the bacteria. So today I was informed she doesn't know what to do. Why didn't she tell me this before I spent over three hundred dollars....just thinking...
So in here I have been reading about using preservatives and those thinning out your ocular surface. I don't know where to go from here or if that is even the case with me or even how to find out.
If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it more than ever.
Thank you
