Yes I know it's bad, this all happend in a matter of 8 hours, he turned everyone's lives upside down, I feel worse for his poor mother, crying her eyes out, I think she might have a nervous break down, all I can do is try to stay strong, I am seriously hurt, I feel broken inside. D
I was thinking maybe you might want to edit your post a little bit so that some of the personal details aren't included. I worry about you revealing too much right now.
Rebecca contacted me and I wanted to apologize for leaving ya'll with to much personal info I am not sure how to delete them so she will do it for me, today is 10 degrees and my eyes are very dry, the bottom left eye is twitching uncontrollably, what does this mean? Again I apologize, God Bless Delilah
Bless you Delilah! You are a positive-minded person and a ray of sunshine, even if it is 10 degrees out!
Eye twitches sometimes happen if there's inflammation anywhere related to eyes. I've heard that the little nerve endings get irritated. I've had them too, but they always go away. The longest I've had an eye twitch was 2 weeks.
Hello friends, just an update on my poor dry mucus eyes, seems like my left eye is getting worse, now I have this problem with it watering yet dry and full of the mucus strings? I am still using the Muro 128 and preservative free eye drops, quit doing the warm compresses as I find sometimes it makes them worse? Just a bit tired of living with this, I suppose I am way better off than some but still the left eye is scarying me, I am guessing I might have to make a visit to my eye doc? I will keep ya'll updated. God Bless Delilah
Hello friends, well I just thought I'd share with you the huge difference I felt with my eyes while I was on vacation in beautiful Huntington Beach, California! Gosh I've missed the ocean, the smell, the beauty of it, the breeze and while I was there I noticed my mucus eye strings weren't so bad, I hardly had to use eye drops and now I am back here in Idaho it's the f'n same thing, tons of mucus strings, dry as hell and I am just miserable So I know if I lived by the ocean my eyes would be so much better but it's expensive as hell, the f'n greed is so bad in California, this world has gotten so damn greedy so it's an impossible thing for me to ever move by the ocean.
Unless I were to win the lottery or come into some money I could move, yet the traffic was awful as I am so use to my small town, but I just wanted to share with all ya'll how much better my eyes felt for that entire week, we are getting our Spring weather finally here in Idaho and it's so nice Hope all ya'll are doing good, God bless and keep in touch. Your Dry Eye Friend Delilah
Sounds like a friend of mine (dry eyes, Sjogren's) who moved to Netarts, Oregon, a small town on the coast. Compared to dry New Mexico, she says her eyes are in Heaven!
Yeah I would go Coastal but it's the money, the constant moving I've done, just barely got a new job at my friends Italian restaurant, so I am stuck here, it's okay I've dealt with it for so long I am use to it, it was just nice to actually feel the difference in a different climate If I win the Lotto I will go Coastal LOL! Hope your doing good. Luv D
Everything I have tried, everything doctors have prescribed, makes my eyes worse. The latest is that I had an allergic reaction to doxycycline. The main symptom was that my eyes became horribly inflamed. I also itched a little all over, but the main reaction was in my eyes. It took five days before my eyes were back to "normal". Which is dry and irritated and blurry, but better than when I'm using any of the recommended treatments.
I'm so sorry to hear that Magoo. Hang in there. Let us know how things go. Hope you've got moisture chambers?
You know what this makes me think of... I keep hearing from Dr. Latkany patients who have been told "stop everything!". I wonder how many actually improve after that.

Thank you for the reply, Rebecca. My eyes are already, after just a few days, feeling better than in all the time I was using various treatments. The moisture chambers did not help my eyes, the condition I have apparently just doesn't respond to them.
I will definitely let you know in future how my eyes are doing.
Actually you dont have to be coastal necessarily...oregon and seattle are humind in half of their state because of rain, lakes, trees ecetera! I actually googled the most humid area in the states so I can figure out where I wanted to retire and the best place for by eyes...well seattle was close to the top and I already live here!
My eyes have felt alot better last few days.I've started taking theratears nutrition.I was taking just ordinary flaxseed oil but no improvement.Don't know if the theratears are the reason for my eyes feeling better but im certainly gonna carry on taking them.I found a website which sells them for £12,i've paid £30 in the past so happy days! The company is lenscatalogue which will come up if you google it
Yeah many of my friends live in Oregon and the Seattle area, I'd move there if I had the dough Idaho's weather has been one of the craziest ever in our time, we are still in the low 30's, no Spring, no sign of Summer, still using heat! I really do believe it's the global warming, it's sad because by this time we are all happy Idahoans rejoycing the warm Spring/Summer weather, we are still in coats and beanies Anyway's hope your doing good. Your friend D
